I think this settlement does a disservice to people with HIV+ people everywhere. I have felt stigmatized in blood labs, in doctors' offices, and in hospitals where employees had little regard for announcing, in some way, my HIV status. The settlement should have been in the billions.

That's absolutely fantastic! People are more accepting that HIV has become a more manageable disease but the stigma, the negative judgment, is still as strong as ever depending on the area you live and people around you. The misconceptions about HIV/AIDS still exists. Taking this situation into consideration, what do you think and feel about the latest law that Governor Jerry Brown has passed in California lowering the criminal charge for a person who knowing infects someone with HIV?
