being a AIDS/HIV housing counselor here in new Orleans our African Americans community is just outta control and with our city government is so corrupt still we had a agency have to close there doors last month due to the city not disbursing funds that put 250 people out to scramble to find case management and 75 % are black this is a sad thing to be happing in America

With these kinds of numbers in the US, and HIV/AIDS funding being cut in major American cities, why the heck is our government sending our tax dollars overseas to fight HIV when we need the money so badly here???

Hooray! I will take SACs manifesto update as an apology for the dreadful mess called the Treatment Modernization Act! And then I will apologise for the dreadful things I said about how SAC split the AIDS community in this nation. On behalf of Long Islanders livinig with HIV/AIDS, its time to unite, north and south, gay and straight, black, hispanic, and white; care for all persons is the goal and we will not settle for anything less!
