"Undetectable" is not a permanent medical condition. Far from it. The viral load begins to rebound to detectable levels in as little as a week after discontinuing, or intermittently adhering to, drug regimens. That is a distinct possibility in the field where troops would be potentially deployed. It's a very bad idea.

Error in article. As of 9/13/22 at 1039, 72% are opposed to recruited HIV positive people. Either a LOT of people answered this poll in the last 4 days or (more likely) this article got the numbers switched.
