And this is why I have donated $25 each month to AmFAR since 1994. They fill the gap in research where funding is lacking from other sources. But certainly $1 million is a far cry from the amount that should be directed toward finding a cure. How about the major HIV drug companies (who are receiving $2000 a month from me and my insurance company) allocate a portion of that income towards research for a cure?
