"A cure. Nobody asks for this diagnosis, and even if someone does get infected, I would want them to feel at ease because there is a cure—maybe one day". We need this voice. Contrary to depictions on this website, most HIV+ folks are not content to manage stigma and await the health consequences of long term HIV. Most people that I know who live with HIV will actually say "cure" when asked open questions about developments they'd like to see. Leadership begins with clarifying priorities.
