Your story made me smile and cry. Thank you for sharing it with us.
This story is amazing it is very hard to be accepted in a community with this disease but with all the down falls in life there are many triumphs as well.I wish I lived where you do cause it's not like that here but I'm not going to let this disease win and make me go hide in the closet. My hope is that they find a cure one day and the people learn to accept that having this disease is like living with any other disability!! I will just have to hope and pray that day will come sooner than later.
Ashley, I loved reading your story. Very powerful & so eloquently written. You're definitely a survivor! Good to have people like you in our world. Keep it up!
This is a uplifting story that keeps me imspired. Stay great Ashley
Ashley, thank you for your positivity and beautiful spirit. I am a heterosexual married man in my late thirties and was recently diagnosed with HIV. My wife is fine and 8 month baby is too. I went through a roller coaster of sadness, anger, and feeling very stupid over the last couple of days and today I happened to read your post and it truly lifted my spirits. If someone like you who through no fault of their own can show such grace then we should all be able to. You're gonna rock at Uni

Hello Ashley, My name is Kristopher. I had exposure to hiv 4 weeks ago and am having symptoms. I have been a total wreck, but reading your story has put some ease in my mind. You are such a strong woman and here I am worrying about having hiv when you have had to deal with this your whole life. Amazing story. I would love to talk to you more about you and your story! Sincerely, Kristopher
