I want to believe it. But I just can't. We have been told there is hope too many times. Humbug cures right around the corner, promising research, now an AIDS-free generation. It all sounds like rhetoric designed to keep us fighting. I work with HIV adolescent boys. 1,000 kids are infected every month in the US. The mantra mantra of testing testing is fine, but without a corresponding song called treatment it is morally bankrupt. There are waiting lists 4 AIDSmeds. Sequestration cut backs. HOPE?
