I tested positive when we found out I was pregnant with my daughter. At thirteen weeks gestation I was put on a combination of medications. In may of 2009 our daughter was born and given a liquid antiretroviral for her first six weeks of life. She was routinely tested until she was almost two. Although we did have one scare; she is now a happy, healthy nearly five year old. Many things are becoming possible with the new medical advanced.

I've been + now for a bit over 25 years and my viral load is undetectable, with a CD4 count in the 500's. This is from taking Atripla since its release and I couldn't be more satisfied. That is the only AV drug that I take. I truly believe that the word ought to be propagated more widely.
