A few corrections to the article. The bathhouse testing project started as research in 2006 funded by the NIH through NYU School of Medicine. In July 2007, it was converted into a collaborative project between NYU and Bellevue. Bellevue is funding the HIV testing aspect of the testing room as a satelite to the HIV testing services offered at the hospital. STD testing and other research continues to occur through NYU.

HI there were 1,000 cases already in early 1980's of hiv, so there's not the same amount now. Now, it's more like 50,000 . Check the numbers for yourself. Yeah, and please do close those bathhouses. That is just increasing the hiv problem altoghether.
