Parsing the variables won't work when the variables aren't relevant. HIV doesn't care about one's income, employment status, or college education. It's ridiculous to claim they are linked to HIV. Including such socioeconomic data only obscures the root cause of high HIV infection rates in the black (or any) community. Unprotected receptive anal intercourse with a positive partner with unsuppressed,high viral load. Put out that message loud and clear instead of parsing variables.

Black MSM in this study have a disparate 10% reported rate of homelessness, which is under reported. LGBTQ people experience homelessness differently that the general population and are also much less likely to see themselves as homeless in order to report it on surveys.
