I've watched the HIV/AIDS epidemic unfold while serving in the USAF. I've been HIV+ since '87. Former President Reagan ignored it. President Clinton coddled it. The military swept it "under the rug," and in walks President Bush, who ravished most US budgets for Americans with HIV/AIDS to send the money abroad. Charity starts at home, folks. Please explain to me why a 100% disabled, American Veteran has to accept part-time medical care. I respect life globally, but need just as much help.

Good to see that there are some efforts being made to focus attention of what is really going on in regard to Hiv and Aids in America. The problem is that, there are many thousands of new infections, that are not reported. Simply because those that are newly infected, do not know that they are infected. They do not want to know, due to fears of stigmatization and labeling. The truth is that, heterosexual transmission is more prevalent, than anyone has even dared to guess, Wake up
