Trans people today, hiv funding tomorrow, all i can say with 63 years of living, vote vote vote,2018 will be vital to all of us,even if you vote for a moderate republican,Democracy is at steak like never before.
It WAS a horrific statement and also MINDLESS and stupid, much like Betty and HER husband. What can you expect from the political group that's running the nation now.
What do we quarantine for? Should we quarantine for HIV? Is it happening? Am I the only one obsessed by HIV? Damn, it's doing my head in.
I am appalled by Dr. Price's archaic and most ill-informed comments and considerations. I almost feel ashamed to share her last name although we are certainly not relatives. Perhaps she could benefit from a greater clarity of insight, awareness and illumination.
Putting Dr Price aside, Enforced Quarantine would be used by an authority only when there is real danger. So, it would only be used in the case of HIV if the person with HIV posed a substantial risk to others by BOTH refusing conventional treatment AND actually having sex with others without informing them of his/her HIV+ status.
i thought it was very clever of her to broach the idea of quarantine to her audience but be able to deny she actually said it. very evil but clever nonetheless. and i am very proud of EJ to speak out. and i'm sure LONG JOHN is proud of you also.
As a person living with HIV for the last 20 years I was completely appalled at the statement made by mrs. rice. with her being a member of the Health Community she was completely out of line with a statement like this. if it were her and she had some kind of condition, would she approve of being confined to some type of internment camp?

I guess after her training as an anesthesiologist she thought the best way to prepare someone for surgery was with a quick blow to the head with a mallet.
