This stands out to me "the median CD4 count rose from 309 to 382 cells/mm3." Comparing a group with a compromised immune system of 350 CD4 to a normal level of 700-1400 hints at the cancer risks. A legitimate comparison would be an HIV person with similar CD4s. We know all too well how common KS was with a single digit CD4 count. I would suggest a relatively frequent occurrence with 0-50, elevated with 200-400 and insignificant over 700.
