As the law sees it, it is just like pointing a loaded gun at someone and pulling the trigger but the gun misfires. The intent was to possibly harm the person, even if the gun didn't fire (his ejaculate did not infect the women he had sex with). It's considered assault, with the intent to cause bodily harm, of varying degrees depending on which state or country you live in.

Women NEED to be educated about sexual interactions with men. They need to know the psychology of sex regarding men and put that at the fore front of their thoughts on dating and having sex. It is amazing in this time of HIV, Hep C/B, HPV and once simple STD's that are no longer simple (drug resistant gonorrhea) that women are still not educated as to what they need. It Is NOT a man, it IS education and the building of self esteem. BTW, the same can be said of many, many men.

Why is it, with so many of these reports, that we're not told if there was transmission or if condoms were used?

Oh, poor woman! Didn't take responsibility for herself and now wants to blame someone else! I'm ashamed that Canada allows such charges to be placed in the first place.
