This is great news that Charlie has broth forth as an AIDS Activist for us poz folks. I am joyful in the concept of new treatment without side effects, so far and excited about the race for many in the treatment business for the cure for AIDS in new and exciting innovations. I remember when no Hope was on the table and many people saying no uses fighting any more and standing up for truth. Then wow, behold a few stood up more stood up and treatment options came forth, Thank be to God
This sound promising 27 years ago to now a shot. We're progressing to new heights. Still they prefect it am going to stay in my daily two pills once a day.
Yeah, Sheen is the guy I want to get my information from. I mean, he's always had a flair for truth, honesty and sensible actions right? The guy is a neophyte who has hardly scraped the surface of the issues let alone has a clue to the facts. And given that he went to Mexico to try a "cure" is just more proof of his lack of knowledge, experience or brain cells.
This totally new antibody treatment is the most promising improvement in HIV medication in many years. The biotechnology company, Cytodyn is developing this medication that is now in Phase II and Phase III clinical trials with the FDA, and is expected to be approved in 2017 for use by HIV positive individuals. The medication seems to be quite effective, and there are no side effects! You can find more information on Cytodyn's web site.
I have been taking this pill for 3 morth. Doing well hope it the same because this is the first time I cause go out with out pad on, Good luck Charlie
Good for him for finding a therapy without side effects. Mine, starting in 1997, turned me into a gargoyle.
It would be nice if they offered it in the whole country, instead of the feew "Wealthy Celebrities" getting it first. It is not fair to those who are starting to run out of options and living with all the harsh side effects of our current HART therapies. These studies should be for whoever wants to be in it, and they should ship you the meds. I had other Injectables sent to me in the mail, for the Lypo around my belly. l at least hope that it is approved and we have access to it very soon.
Michael
POZ is definitely hard on Sheen. Not because he's a misogynist who runs around spouting scientific misinformation, but because he committed the cardinal sin of failing to sit down, shut up, tell his tale of cautionary woe and kneel before the altar of Bigpharma. I'm not totally convinced Pro140 is going to work, but I'd take Sheen's word over that of this magazine any day.
