Curious as to why only 20 participants? I have been in several clinical trials previously and would be so very happy to participate in this one. Would love not to have to take my medication. Have gone on treatment breaks previously and always had a rebound in viral load but when off the medicines I felt so much better physically and mentally. Glad to hear they are still working diligently on a cure or treatment better than what's available now.
I have been HIV+ for over 21yrs and seen many so called cures come and go, in the early days the treatments were rushed just like Covid medicine is just now, over the many years I have been on various treatments, however being in Glasgow I have never been offered any chance to take part in any so called HIV cure trials, I would welcome the trial for a cure to be a world wide exercise as this would give a proper indication of how well this cure may work. I have been undetectable for many years.
