now THIS is good news indeed. the fact that Gates received ANY negative attention at all for this decades-overdue funding effort just proves how complacent we've all become about HIV. "just use a damn condom!" is the empty rhetoric..."let's design better condoms" is long over due realism. hopefully some of these engineering ideas result in condoms that more people want to use. anyone uncomfortable with PrEP should be applauding this Gates Foundation action.
