Our lawmakers sure are willing to have unprotected sex when they cheat on their wives, scandal after scandal these days, all sexually active people are responsible for their own health,u rely on a stranger to be honest with u give me a break, our prisons are already overcrowded in Oklahoma ,sure u should tell potential partner, but I remember the 80s when we just wanted to live not run to the police because we didn't practice safer sex, these red states are all ready to lock us up.

Did the study try to find out if it the people afraid of testing due to criminalization were more likely to engage in riskier sex and/or were also afraid they may already be positive?

I think everyone who is or has been sexually active with more than 1 partner gay or straight should be tested. That way they can get the treatment needed. I also think an HIV or AIDS person should disclose so the person they are with can decide how the feel about it. And unless you are undetectable for gosh sake practice safe sex. Once you have HIV or AIDS you have it for life, and why not prevent that from happening? It’s easy.

Very interesting. This study should make law makers think. And it needs to be explained to all who fear HIV.
