had hep c for 40 years and was at stage just before cirrhosis. I took Harvoni 24 weeks 4 years ago. My specialist dropped me as soon as I was cured and I had a limited access to a family doctor because of chronic lack of doctors. had to push doctors in order to get 2 ultrasound during that 4 years and I paid out of pocket for 2 additional ultrasound tests while out of the country. It is unfortunate that specialists lose interest in cured patients and family doctors are not knowledgeable in Hep C
