Your story is heartbreaking & inspiring. I am amazed you survived the early years. I grew up in a small town, gay at 5, going to hell said my Baptist Church. In 1976 moved to Atlanta & realized I was not going to hell alone. Diagnosed in '92, exposed in '82, never allowed myself to believe I would die of Hiv. From 2004 forward, Neuropathy robbed me of so many physical activities, so I DO believe Hiv is a life sentence. To date there is no cure for Hiv+ people.
