Please don't miss seeing the documentary, "How To Survive A Plague," especially those of you who haven't looked into how it all began, where it all went so quickly and how many lives were lost due to prejudice, political ineptitude and denial that HIV impacts on everyone, everywhere -- it is part of us all.
It's about time, every canadate should be asked, how would u fight AIDS in america, and what resourses, and money would you bring to the table if elected. For me it would be a one issue, vote. have run out of meds. Will be in the next wave of deaths. my friend micheal died a few yrs ago when he ran out of meds. All the hoopla, about direction of the country, will not matter to people like me. deaths will start rising again...30 yrs and nobody take hiv serious, any more.

Not understandable why Americans are talking about an 'America' without HIV/AIDS, why not talk about a 'WORLD' without HIV/AIDS? Isnt America a part of this 'World'? If the WORLD is free of HIV/AIDS only then will America or any other country be free of this deadly killer virus. We need to have a more holistic approach rather than just a region specific one, especially as this disease can be contracted by anyone. HIV does not discriminate by region or color or creed, then why should we?
