2013 - diagnosed w/full blown AIDS. I've had a hysterectomy, both hips replaced, both knees replaced. Now I need both shoulders replaced. All my joints are bone on bone. I live in severe pain daily. I've got depression & anxiety. I would love to find some medicine that would take the pain away or at least make me feel a little better where I would want to do things w/my daughter & grandson.

Please contact me, I am the founder of the HIV LONG TERM SURVIVORS International network founder, with close to 5000 members, as well as the HIV and AGING workgroup chair in SF. I am also suffering from horrible pain every day, and I would love to help in any possible way.

We need a cure soon, pain is part of life but the reactive inflammation from HIV causes a state of chronic pain, I know because I experience it everyday. I exercise everyday and work full time.

I've been dealing with this chronic pain for 2 years. They say it's psoriasis arthritis but it seems more than that. We do need more studies and a remedy. Opiods is not the answer.

I'm so glad to see some interest in researching this subject. After having HIV for over 30 years now along with a few other health issues ones body seems to have aches and pains all over if not every day at least from time to time. Some days better some days worse.. I tend to think my issue with pain is the damaging inflammation that HIV causes. What ever the reason for us all dealing with pain, maybe eventually they will have some form of treatments to deal with it or prevent it all together.

I am a CPP female. In 2003 I was in a car wreck he came paralyzed at t7 and t8 and then developed a bad case of osteomyelitis. so so I can't do injections or pain pumps or stimulators because the osteomyelitis can turn into spinal meningitis. The tapering is better in hell and I'm on my last legs to find another pain doctor hopefully somebody hears and sees us and starts applying science again.

Chronic pain is real, soft tissue pain and joint pain, I thought I was getting an autoimmune type of arthritis but now after some thinking and research, I think it’s reactive arthritis due to HIV. Movement helps but HIV taxes the body in many ways chronic pain, cardiovascular atherosclerosis, liver and kidney stress. We need a cure soon.
