ADAP is a politic tool and again the last straw to see if our Government Leadership will create fair and freely trade agreements for the people of the USA’s money. You see I am on ADAP, however prepare to come off meds for a couple of years, it is a Faith thing. I also found my pill can be re-imported from Canada for 250.00 bucks, compared to 1500.00 at CVS. Think, What’s up Americans? I can only assume that the profits 5 times the fair price goes to Mr. Kindler at Pfizer and such.

Why have life-saving HIV treatments if formularies can't supply needed meds for side-effects? Know that cost-cutting-measures=death!!!

ADAP been a great life saving band aid for the HIV person in the pass in a win, win, win for Phrama having a private lobby group in hostage to focus Non Profits and HIV people to lobby for more money to PhRAMA each year while people live. It is Phrama Pills and the People Monies. ADAP is now the final straw of negotiations in Federal Funds for drugs. The problem is many dieses groups are in the same boat as HIV people in the over pricing and rapping of the American people in this hostage negotiations.

WHY CAN WE NOT GET MEDICAD .WITH ADAP I WOULD REALLY SICK AND I DO NOT THINK THAT IS RIGHT TO REFUSE ANYONE THAT HAS HIV/AIDS.BECAUSE INSURANCE COMPANIES DO NOT LIKE GIVEING ANYONE THAT HAS A MEDICAL PROBLEMS INSURANCE WITH OUT IT TAKENING EVERYTHING THEY MAKE A MONTH AND THAT IS UNFAIR.WHY CAN WE NOT GET MEDICAD?IHAVE BEEN TURNED DOWN EVERYTIME I HAVE FEILD ANY APPLICATION.DUE TO EITHER I MAKE TO MUCH MONEY OR THE FACT I DO NOT HAVE CHILDREN AT HOME AND THAT IS NOT FAIR.

Life saving drugs should never be denied to sick/manageable or dying person in our country. Pharmacuticauls must give the equal discount rate as the V.A or government recieves. Same on all Phamaciticuals who just want to keep their profits up. Well whe we all die see what profit you will have earned. Reagan was wrong the trickel down affect didn't work and will never. This isn't about a cure but disease maintance and profit gorging corparate america.

I'm personally looking forward to next year when my ADAP costs will count towards my doughnut hole. I pay an extra $78 a month for Kaiser, plus co-pays. Due to the high cost of my HIV meds (I have to take the newest ones for treatment exp.), I'm in the doughnut hole by March/April every year lately. Then, I have to spend over $4k to hit catastrophic coverage. This means I go w/o other medications I desperately need for my Asthma. Which could also cause my death.

THIS COMMENT IS FOR jUAN cARLOS. hAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF THE PROGRAM CALLED awap NOT adap? Ask your case manager. It is a little known organization that helps with the situation that you are facing with the co-pay. Please look in to it. Most case managers do not know about this project. Good luck!

In the article, William Arnold stated that during the last ADAP crisis, "...and five in North Carolina who were not officially acknowledged." Was that actually North Carolina or South Carolina?
