Poz since 92 I have had 2 great doctors since, My current dr, like the previous comment, is more concerned about other things rather than my HIV, It is undetectable and stable, We spend most of our meetings discussing trends, etc. He is astounded by the number of men who treat prep as a party drug. They don't take it consistently, and eventually come down with a resistant form of HIV. He no longer prescribes prep. It is not a party drug.

Tested poz in '86 (likely infected in '80-'82), and now a very LTS, "aging gracefully." My doctor recently told me that he was more concerned about regular aging issues with me than succumbing to one of the standard AIDS-related infections...it seems to corroborate this article, and for that I am pretty darned grateful! Keep taking your meds, y'al!
