I think adding services to any community is a great thing. As someone who spent half their childhood living in Chattanooga and knows first hand how religion is used against people who do not conform to religion these programs have the potential to backfire. It worries me bc these services are being used to target "sinners". In TN as in many other states people believe HIV was sent from God to rid the world of our gay/bi lifestyles. I'm a survivor of conversion therapy and an evangelical father.
