As someone who has taken pills for more than 28 years now due to HIV and who cannot remember whether or not I've taken them ,-right after even taking them- I am so thrilled for this option and I'm about to start the process of switching over. As for cost, every HIV medication to date has been at a ridiculously high cost, so for those of you who oppose this based on price, I'd suggest you direct your anger at the real villains and not at those of us who relish this option.

I don't want more treatments--I want to see cures and vaccines. The swift action and creation of the C19 jab was an unprecedented breakthrough. If we applied this much pressure, awareness and resources to HIV, we'd have our HEP C-style fix by now.

Totally moronic money-grubbing effort by big pharma. As someone else indicated, this doesn't save you any time or effort. Most people these days take some kind of medicine, vitamin or supplement daily already so all you get with these injections are 12 visits to the doctor at TWICE the price of the most common treatments now. If I were the insurance carrier I wouldn't approve of this regimen - you want it you pay for it.

I have been in the study for these injections . No more pills and its quick and easy. Itsa personal choice that I'm glad I agreed to.

I read this article twice to make sure I wasn't missing anything. The "benefit" over swallowing one pill once a day is that the patient gets to live with a sore butt cheek 12 times a year. Most people on HIV meds also take other medications. So, instead of eliminating a trip to the pharmacy, it will add a trip to the doctor's office every month. Then, I saw the $4,000.00 a month price and it makes sense why the pharmaceutical industry is pushing this as hard as they are.
