The Female Health Company (FHC) has teamed up with state, local and community-based organizations in Houston to expand access to the FC2 Female Condom, according to a FHC statement. As of March 10, Houston women can get the FC2 for free at clinics, hospitals, community health centers and college campuses. The female condom will also be sold at Walgreens in the Houston area (a pack of three costs between $5.99 and $7.99). FC2 is the only female-initiated method to prevent sexually transmitted infections and unintended pregnancy. Men who have sex with men also use the prophylactic during anal intercourse.
