Not sure what the issue of the shirt pricing is about. Those who can afford it will those that cannot or chose not to won't. As someone who's been living with HIV (then misnamed by Gallo as HTLV3 in one of the great academic and medical frauds if the twentieth century) I see nothing untoward in calling a party OreP+, sounds like a party I'd enjoy.

Why anyone would buy a T shirt and wear it as outer wear is beyond me. To pay $60 for it is even more astounding, but not as much as the people piling onto this guy for not spending his money the way they want him to. I have been dealing with HIV for 34 years now and his PrEP party doesn't bother me one bit. As a matter of fact, it makes PrEP seem kinda cool, which will make it more acceptable and palatable to those who should be on it.

Christopher, but has George Ocean whitened his skin? No, he's only dyed his hair blond. Your Prime Minister could dye his hair blond, too. Anyway, that aside and re the Aladdin thing - so what! I'm sure your P.M. meant nothing racist. So, please comment about this article instead of something else. You could comment about your something else where that something else is. You just wasted my time and the time of others here, too. I ought not have even bothered replying to your off topic comment...

So, he can go blond, but my Prime Minister is raked over the coals for dressing as Aladdin 20 years ago for a theme party. Go figure.

The dance scene isn't my scene. The country isn't where I am. But his PrEP+ Club Nights might highlight PrEP in a way that it's not already highlighted. And people there will see it highlighted on posters and talk about it more. And people will go to his events... So instead of belittling this enterprise of his, I applaud it. But $60 a t-shirt is silly and exploitative. And who'd want to wear one at even $20? That aside, good on him!

Once again in the hollow echo chamber known as the comments section. I'd like just ask the question? Have all the AIDS "activists" in the United States gone crazy? Really? This is what they care about? I knew twitter was useless the day I first heard about it and now these exchanges among so-called activists prove what a useless way of communicating a serious topic social media has become. Now, I'll wait for the millions of replies we always get in the comments section.
