May God have mercy on him and his followers and for them to know more of a loving God within Christ and meekness of his love to build and not tear down or put a stone in front of the misfits who God loves so much and gave his..........

Take it from me,a nearly 60yr old gbm, when has the country not been divided ,Mr Phelps or Mr Farwell did nothing when blacks were being mistreated we heard nothing from them in the 60's,that same bible was there then,to utter the word that god hates someone, and to add pain at a military funeral, now I hear people talk forgiveness, same old thing ,the hate mongers spew all their venom all their lives, but god will give them a pass in the end, they turned on gays after we got a few rights ,whos next.

I've never understood gay people sticking up for the GOP. Seems self loathing to me. While it may be true that some in the Republican Party didn't appreciate Mr. Phelps disruption of military funerals, his stance on gays was in line with most of the Party.

We don't know and will probably never know if mr. phelps begged any god for forgivnes of his hate and stupidity. So it is left to Gay folk, once again, to beg our God to forgive him for all of the discrimination, hate, fear and stupidity promulgated by this poor pathetic soul.

If their god did not punish for this country murdering the indigenous people, for having African slaves, and all the other self-righteous things this country has done, then why would he/she/it have a hissy fit over a country embracing LGBT people? Bottom line is WBC is an example of hysterical religious mental illness. They are to be pitied.

Seriously Willie?!? Do you not understand that being divisive doesn't help anyone? This vile 'man' was no favorite.

willie, do not post statements that have no validity and are simply not true. You don't have to agree with the GOP on issues, but there is no need to post blatant lies either. I know many GOP'ers, and every one of them loathes the actions of Phelps and his followers.
