Given the circumstances we currently face as a global community I think this reduction is a reasonable direction. We have several PrEP medications and we know how to have safer sex. Funding in general is at best shaky with our Congress in such disarray, funds need to be directed more carefully. I began my battle over 30 years ago, we've made tremendous progress, now it's time we use what we have rather than ask for more of the same.
