You guys give me soo much hope that one day soon I will be free of this parasite that took up residence within my body, while paying no rent and has chosen to destroy my natural resources. I encourage the researchers to not give up until a cure is found. And to those holding the purse strings that aids research such as these, please loosen them up a little I beg of you, so that an end to HIV/AIDS can be achieved.
They should do this in stem cells and then put the stem cells back into the person. I think this would help normalize the body. I would be up for it.
We sure have gone far in terms of this battle against HIV and we have a long way more to go... not losing hope and seeing that same hope in every breakthrough. Lets contribute in this journey whether be it in small or big ways. I, myself, am ready to take part in this. I hope everyone else feels the same.
Aids/HIV is a billion dollar industry and articles like this just keeps the money coming in. There is and there will probably never be a cure. They will only go as far as a treatment for HIV period. The whole health care industry is built on treatments not cures so don't get your hopes up. I have been following everything about Aids/HIV from the beginning. I was working in the healthcare industry when we didn't know what was killing perfectly health patients, until we discovered Aids/HIV.
With all the ways that have been reported to deliver treatment to infected cells it's sad that this is still used as the excuse stop the BS and lets go already
LOL. It's almost inevitable that when a story like this pops up, you will never see it reported on again. Even here on poz. No follow up, just throw out a bone every now and then, to keep them coming back, then pretend it was never said.
How long before this is shot down in flames?
Nick
This is just another carrot in front of the horse. Big pharma needs private & governmental research dollars AND monthly medication money from HIV patients. There's a reason it takes years to decades to finish a clinical trial & it's not about your health! Life is about money and keeping you alive in order to make more money. Why do you think they put a stop to DRUG HOLIDAYS? They were losing money! It was NOT about your health.
