Kenya will receive two new grants totaling $27 million to fight HIV and tuberculosis. Leaders of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, as well as the Joint United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), met with Kenyan officials at a signing ceremony in Nairobi, according to a Global Fund statement. The funds will improve diagnosis and treatment of TB and provide nutritional support for people with TB, as well as support care for people living with both TB and HIV.
