Kudos to my fellow survivors and thrives! I was diagnosed in 1981 and am still going strong too. There should be a issue dedicated to survivors 30+ years, 25, 20, 15, 10, 5 and 1 year in various communities!

It is good to see articles about LTS's. As one ( 32 years ) I had to learn to live again, in that I was supposed to die within 5 years when I first tested positive. Long term plans were cast aside, and now here I am dealing with health issues related not only to HIV, and the meds taken to keep it in check, but things like stage 4 CKD, and the possibility of dialysis, and/or transplantation. I'm alive, and grateful, but I never planned or expected to live into old(er) age, and all it brings.
