Not to mention that drinking is directly responsible for many if not most HIV infections in the first place.

My father was an alcoholic, and my last LTR was with a functioning alcoholic man who smoked. Both are now dead. Alcoholism is a very serious disease. I'm thankful my sister and I didn't inherit the craving for alcohol. HIV positive people can't afford to live with untreated addictions. We need more help for people living with HIV and harmful addictions. They should be moved to the front of the line!
