HHS Promises $11M to Boost HIV Services in Community Health Centers

Why is Florida the only southern location being awarded this funding? Half of all new infections and the highest numbers of deaths attributed to HIV disease are occurring in the South. Massachusetts already has some of the best numbers in the nation regarding the continuum of care (linked to care, receiving HAART, viral suppression, etc.). The money and resources are needed in the South. This is disappointing and infuriating.
