I've been taking Atripla now for nearly two years and am maintaining an undetectable viral load and a CD4 count of nearly 600, and this is having been positive for slightly over 30 years. I have had no related illnesses; I get my treatment at the Atlanta VA; most of the consulting doctors are with either the CDC or Emory University, so I can say assuredly that there is hope. By the way, my age is 60.
