Scientists working on ways to improve adherence dont seem to get that some people just do not want to take antiretroviral therapy. There is nothing wrong with a patient not wanting to treat and they MUST be given the same support and compassion as those with high adherence rates. We must consider every patients quality of Life, living situation and assess potential adherence problems. We must stop with these invasive tactics to improve adherence,I would not want anyone making me take anything.
