Chicago's young, poor, HIV+ minority patients live a world away from the ivory towers of Northwestern. How many of those patients have a stable home? How many live on the street? How many are using drugs and postituting themselves for an income? Was there a control group of young people in stable homes, attending school (or working meaningful jobs), and who were NOT putting themselves at risk for reinfection?

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SITE. Am 'Spence' aged 19yrs diagnosed with HIV last year September, here in Kenya,if you have the virus then you can easily be shunnd by others. So I live a life of pretence under my parents roof, neither of my family members know of my status since telling them is like telling the whole extended family.Telling a friend is like telling the society as they call it 'the damn virus' n many bad names that anyone would avoid being called. If only I'd find a confidant maybe things would change.
