Wow, another discovery of the obvious! Stay tuned folks, next we'll "discover" that the bone loss gets worse with the duration of infection and/or treatment and/or age. Wait, maybe we should check to see if BMD decreases with those factors first, then check to see if it all corresponds with fracture rates! How much money was wasted on this that could have gone to a cure?
