It is not my temperament to complain but my life has been hell for decades-and it is not getting much better. Even though my viral burden flucuates around undetectable and my CD4 counts are above 1600+, HAND makes my life a living hell that I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. How much torture should we have to endure before someone puts us out of our misery?

I will be 52. I have had HIV/AIDS for 27 years. I do feel like 72,near my own father's age. Being a serious artist has kept me alive.I lived in LA for near 30 years, and worked tirelessly pro bono for almost all the AIDS Service Centers. I have been told I made over a million dollars for these groups. I came back to Ill. because my father had serious operations.I now need to return to the gay community.I have many nuero problems, would love to be in a study.I am very isolated (google yahoo)

I am 22 years into my fight 4.5 years ago I developed Epilepsy it is not under control anticonvusants do not play well with antivirals, even though the Ep is HIV induced i have to medicate out of pocket. I have been on AVR most of my Hx and never had an AIDS diagnosis, Short and long term memory are full of holes Periferal Neuropathy is setting in in a non standard way. They need to pay better attention to us long termers as the cumulative effects compound and focus in us more clearly.
