"The study enrolled 10 HIV elite controllers, 103 people living with HIV with undetectable viral loads while receiving antiretroviral therapy and 49 HIV-negative individuals. Atherosclerosis was documented in 78 percent of elite controllers, " I'm sorry, but something is wrong with this synopsis. If there were 10 elite controllers and 78% of the elite controllers had atherosclerosis, that would mean that 7.8 elite controllers had atherosclerosis -- how is this possible?!?!?
