the city mentioned in the article, is my native city, Yekaterinburg. 1.5 million of residents are just registered people. The real population counts 'bt 3 million people. This city is the only one who has 23% of population tested. All other places in Russia have not more than 15% of tested residents. Drug addicted hiv+people and heterosexual contemination - almost 50-50 throughout Russia. Our main problem I think is that just about 35% of hiv+ people have a real access to the ARV-therapy.

Where ignorance (or suppression of knowledge and information) reign, chaos rules, and disaster impends. I feel very, very sorry for the Russian people, and I rue the government for keeping up the pretense that "all is and will be well..."
