Where ignorance (or suppression of knowledge and information) reign, chaos rules, and disaster impends. I feel very, very sorry for the Russian people, and I rue the government for keeping up the pretense that "all is and will be well..."

the city mentioned in the article, is my native city, Yekaterinburg. 1.5 million of residents are just registered people. The real population counts 'bt 3 million people. This city is the only one who has 23% of population tested. All other places in Russia have not more than 15% of tested residents. Drug addicted hiv+people and heterosexual contemination - almost 50-50 throughout Russia. Our main problem I think is that just about 35% of hiv+ people have a real access to the ARV-therapy.
