My husband died from AIDS in 1996. I, how ever am one of the lucky few whose DNA has an HIV blocker. Our daughter is fine also. I have been treated like dirt, like an untouchable in my small community for years to those whom knew, I didn’t hide it either. Fortunately, there are some individuals that are not afraid of HIV. People are nasty & cold for the most part on a matter such as this. Many laws need to be changed.

What hypocrisy. How about the millions "criminalized" for a disease they did not even have? Jobs lost. Medical care denied. Education cancelled. Etc. COVID is everything you condemn in reference to HIV. Can we make PrEP mandatory at the risk of losing your jobs?

How is someone who later finds out that they had high-risk sex with someone who is HIV-positive not victimized by that fearful revelation any less than someone with an unloaded gun pointed at them is in fear for their lives? The latter is justifiably criminal. The former should be as well.

If you don't tell someone you're HIV positive before sex....you're a criminal
