If HIV is covered as a disability under the ADA, then why is there even an argument that HIV service members shouldn’t be deployed, and prospective recruits can rightfully be rejected for HIV infection? Much milder disabilities are disqualifiers to serve. You can’t have it both ways. Either HIV infection is a disability, or it isn’t.
