I'm scared of the vaccine myself However from working in the nursing field I know the benefits outweigh the cons One year my mother became Very ill with the flu However had she not of had the vaccine the Dr. told us Her illness would have been Much Much Worse!! So I'm going for it this year and if you feel afraid just talk to Jesus I know I am Hes so loving and will hear you and protect you all you have to do is ask

The flu shot does not contain live flu virus and can't cause the flu. Most people feel just fine after getting a flu shot, but a few people may feel achy for a day or so after the shot. Sometimes people catch cold caused by a different virus and think the flu shot made them sick. The flu shot only protects you from flu virus. Also it takes 2 weeks for your body to form protective antibodies after a flu shot, so it's possible to get the flu or another viral infection during this window period.
