Lately when these studies come out I like to read the disclaimer first and see how many researchers took money from the drug companies. I'm not saying they are biased, but the possibility is there. This matters to me when the results imply that harmful side effects might actually be caused by the virus, although they don't know how or why. Hmmmm... I would like to consider relative risks to my health with my doctor. It's been increasingly difficult to find any ID doctor open to that discussion.
