M. Ann - It's not that older folks aren't having sex, you are correct in that. But the FDA denied Merck's request to increase the approved age for Gardasil. I am not of the exact reasons, and the transcript of the meeting is not yet available - but it's not because Merck hasn't tried. ~Chris

Why only young men? If they think only young men are sexually active (irresponsibly so), they are deluding themselves. Is it OK for older men to give the virus to older women since well, they're going to die soon anyway? Think about the message you're sending.
