This information aligns with my experience and I keep a dermatologist on my regular medical "team."

I've been bombarded with skin cancer. I spent a lot of time in the sun, was burned badly a few times and am Irish ergo light skinned. Along with a few dozen 1 to 2 inch circles of scalp removed to the bone I have had one 3.25" and one 5.5" section removed. Trust me, it leaves a scar. I haven't mention all the ones on my arms, face, neck, ears and back incised or frozen away. I accept co-factors are heavily involved but suspect HIV didn't help the situation any.

So the study was done only with Danish individuals which overall, the Danish population is very light skinned. As we know, light skinned individuals need to be even more cautious in the sun. What if your mixed Caucasian, Afro American and Native American ? Oh yeah and you smoked for thirty some odd years ? There is to many variables to come to such a conclusion so quickly.
