what is frustrating for me is that no matter how much I watch what I eat and work out I can not get rid Lipodystrophy, I am as alert as before and so what do they consider decreased mental functions? I have been poz for over 20 years
So what HIV meds cause the most Lipodystrophy... I am pretty sure I have it, and like Rebecca (above comment) I too sometimes cry thinking about what I use to look like versus now; but at least I am alive! However, what can I do to help this situation. My concentration has gotten worse as I get older and as I live with HIV longer... I try to challenge myself with puzzles and things but it still isn't where I want to be... Advice?
I'm on HIV treatment and at first I never thought I developed any side effects. Still taking meds and now my feet are so stiff I can't wear short like I used to, have changed and my stomach Its like I'm pregnant my medication was changed.I sometimes cry thinking of my body I feel very little of myself. Kindly advice as what to do.

My waist size is shrinking. What I'm doing is both keto and writing down the time I eat fat and how many grams. Then I put an hour delay minimum between eating foods with fat. Visceral fat can absorb dietary fat via chylomicrons and chylomicrons get larger when you eat more fat. Eating small amounts of fat at intervals keeps the chylomicrons from enlarging.
