I took part in a study of this application in Vancouver Canada.I found this treatment to be highly effective for MY neuropathic pain.I was promised up front that should this be a sucessful treatment for my pain that I would be supplied with further applications to relieve my pain as this treatment is not approved in Canada, and furthermore it is not a coverable expense by my Provincal drug plan. Sadly, once the study ended, NeurogesX has refused to supply me with any further treatments.GREED;-(

I participated in this clinical trial for this patch, it was an absolutely horrible experience. The first session sent me to the ER with severe burning pain, which hydromorphone injections wouldn't offer no relief. Furthermore, there are other medication for neuropathy issues, myself, 2 dialudid a day, everyday, no a better quality of life. 28 years poz..my doc, Cynthia Brinson has made it possible me to be alive today!
